Shading, not security. Our roller shutters are made for sun, heat and glare control on the outside of the glass. They are not security-rated shutters — that is a different product, which we can quote on request.

Made For The Window, Not A Catalogue
No two elevations on a Cornwall Hill stand face the same way, and after a full hectare of garden and paddock, no two windows are quite the same size either. Every blind, roller shutter and awning starts with a free in-home measure, so what arrives is made for that exact opening — inside or outside the reveal, whichever suits the frame — never trimmed on site to fit.
Why Cornwall Hill Is Different
Cornwall Hill's stands run close to a full hectare, wrapped in mature trees and the gentle rise and fall of ground that gave the estate its name. That scale changes what a window actually needs.
A lounge that's dappled and green at nine in the morning can be a wall of glare by four in the afternoon, once the sun drops behind the ridge line and finds west-facing glass square on. Sun-control fabrics and external venetians are specified by elevation, not guessed.
Double-volume entrances, great rooms and glass walls facing the paddocks are the estate's signature — and the reason most Cornwall Hill projects end up motorised. A run of glass that size was never going to work on a hand chain.
Like most secure lifestyle estates, Cornwall Hill carries architectural guidelines covering anything visible from outside the home. Exterior roller shutters, awnings and external blinds are specified in finishes an aesthetics committee will actually approve.
How It Works
Tell us about the rooms, the glass and the timeline — by chat, form or phone.
A consultant visits the property, measures every window and talks through what suits each elevation.
A clear, itemised quote per window — nothing ordered until you've signed off.
Each piece made to the exact opening and fitted by the team who measured it.

Questions
Cornwall Hill's aesthetics committee reviews anything visible from outside the home. We talk finish and colour through with you before anything is ordered, and can supply spec sheets if your estate committee needs to sign off.
Once a run of glass gets wide, a chain becomes impractical to operate day to day. Motorised control is the practical answer — often the only sensible one — with a single remote or app running a whole wall at once.
Motorised exterior products are fitted with a wind sensor that auto-retracts before gusts build. That's the responsible spec for anything mounted outside, not an optional extra.
Cordless, motorised or properly tensioned chain operation is used as standard across the range — no dangling cords left within reach.
Yes. Timber venetians suit a homestead-style facade with deep verandas, while concealed recess and external venetian systems suit a contemporary glass build. The free measure visit is where we match the product to the actual window.
An inside (recess) mount sits tailored and minimal within the frame, provided there's enough recess depth. An outside (face) mount covers more of the frame for fuller blockout and can make a smaller window feel larger — we advise per window at the free measure.
